－What You Can Expect－

Begin the guided day tour from Taipei and buckle down for a road trip to Taiwan’s little known northeast destinations. From downtown Taipei, you’ll head to Nanya for the gigantic rock formations that’s been carved by the wind, rain, and crashing waves over millennia.

Be mesmerized by views of the mountains and the sea during the 85-kilometer winding drive to the nose-shaped Bitou Cape Park. Enjoy the park that’s known for the unique rock formations perched on the cliffs and the trails that reward hikers with jaw-dropping sceneries at the top. Drop by the Fulong Visitor Center for a quick break, before continuing to explore the pristine beaches on your own.

Next stop is the Cape Santiago Lighthouse where you’ll learn a little bit of the region’s history and local culture. Bask in the peaceful atmosphere of the lighthouse, then stop by the Beiguan Tidal Park for the spectacular panorama of Taiwan’s northeast coast.

Before returning to Taipei, spend a moment or two relaxing and unwinding by the shore of laid-back Wai’ao Beach among the locals.
