She loves chewing the grass which piques my interest as my knowledge of dogs is that they are carnivores.
The old lady said this plant grows in the wild where she used to live. Then she moved it here, to the city. The yellow flowers, when in bloom, attract three species of bees, and are quite sweet. She mentioned that it has medicinal properties but she couldn't recall any of the properties ... ???
Initially, I intended to turn right at the end of this block, but I noticed the dog ahead chewing plants! So I decided to cross the street to talk to her. As I approached her, an old lady appeared. She saw me, and said hi. Then I started to talk to her.
The neighborhood I strolled in today is called Westmount Architectural Heritage Area.
